Walaa Jamal Aqel: REUSING OF TREATED WASTE WATER IN CONCRETE PRODUCTION

Abstract
The present consumption of potable water for concrete production creates indirectly a great burden of cost, especially these days in light of the global water crisis which is summarized in a great demand on water against the limited resources. This Project was conducted to study the feasibility of usage of treated waste water in concrete production, in an attempt to provide tap water for other purposes and so to reduce the total cost of concrete production.

Imad Ghanameh: Impact of Using Desalinated Brackish Water on Chemical and Physical Characteristics of Heavy Saline Soil

Abstract
The study area is located in Marj Na’aja in the northern part of Jordan valley where the area is facing deterioration of soil and water quality. The soil became salinized with bad physical and chemical properties as result of using low irrigation water quality for long time. Therefore, the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) tried to find alternative irrigation resource by installing desalinated water plant to desalinize the brackish water to use for irrigation.

Mahran A. Shahadeh: Effect of Wastewater Quality on the Performance of a CW- SAT Hypbrid System in an Arid Region

Abstract
The present study aims to investigate the impacts of the quality of preliminarily-treated, sanitation and wastewater on the hybrid treatment system that consists of CW and SAT as a filtering system from various disease, pollutants in order to satisfy the Palestinian standards related to wastewater treatment.
