Launch of the first training workshop within the Dutch-Palestinian Academic Cooperation Project

the Institute of Environmental and Water Studies at Birzeit University launched the first training workshop entitled "Teaching Qualification Programme" under the Palestinian-Palestinian Academic Cooperation Project "Paduco 2".

The workshop, which was held over a period of 5 days (16-20 June 2019), included a number of academics from 6 Palestinian universities who are partners in the project.

The Educational Rehabilitation Program supports the development of teaching competencies for a group of faculty members from partner universities. The workshop is concerned with improving knowledge and skills in theoretical and practical teaching.

The program aims to develop teaching and learning capacities to enable university staff to obtain the "Educational Qualification Program" certificate to improve their teaching skills, apply the concept of teaching and learning, and promote their awareness and practice in student-centered teaching based on the concepts of constructive alignment and active learning, Develop their own teaching and learning materials as a means to enable effective learning, and develop a community of university teachers / educators with a focus on improving education.
